Breakthroughs do not happen in isolation. They emerge when computational scientists, biologists, clinicians, engineers, and trainees engage directly with one another around shared data and shared challenges. At AIMS@USC, we believe that meaningful progress requires stakeholders to be in the same room, examining results together, questioning assumptions, and shaping priorities collaboratively. To foster this environment, we will host periodic Spatial Summit meetings which are dedicated forums to present ongoing work, solicit feedback, and define the next strategic directions for spatial research at USC. The Spatial Summit will function as an institutional think tank: aligning methodology with biological insight, accelerating translation across disciplines, and ensuring that spatial datasets generated at USC achieve their fullest scientific and clinical impact.
